Bandslam
Awkward but pleasant teen musical. Geek introvert Will (Connell) is the new kid at Van Buren HS after he and mom Karen (Kudrow) move to suburban New Jersey. He bonds over shared musical tastes with sullen Sam (Hudgens) and cheerleader-turned-singer Charlotte (Michalka) who decides Will's love of vintage rock makes him the perfect manager for her garage band. After a few changes and a lot of practice, Will figures they have a shot at the tri-state battle-of-the-bands competition. Music isn't terribly memorable but everyone is just so darn cute.
