Starlift
Basically a variety showcase for Warner Bros. stars that was intended as a patriotic salute to Korean War GIs. The flimsy plot finds starlet Nell (Rule) visiting the troops at San Francisco's Travis Air Force Base and soldier Rick (Hagerthy) falling for her. Doris Day, Gordon MacRae, Virginia Mayo, and James Cagney are among those making an appearance (to a greater or lesser extent).
