Drag Me to Hell

Raimi returns to his lower-budget over-the-top horror roots. In order to impress her boss, L.A. loan officer Christine Brown (Lohman) refuses to allow Mrs. Ganush (Raver) a loan extension on her home. Big mistake since the elderly gypsy places a curse on Christine that involves an evil spirit that starts destroying her life and in three days--well, you can see what'll happen from the title. Lots of gross-out moments, delivered in Raimi's tongue-in-cheek schlock style with Lohman being a particularly good sport considering what her character goes through (mud, bugs, and projectile vomiting included).
