Yuichi's (Hayato Ichihara) mother has remarried, and he doesn't exactly like it. At school he is bullied horrifically, and he has to resort to crime to pay off the demands of his assailants, one of whom pimps out the other school boys to older men. His only respite is the website he runs about his favorite singer Lily Chou-Chou. Pic boasts some of the most beautiful cinematography to come out of Japan, but its subject matter is brutal and unforgiving, and the nonlinear story will cause some confusion.
