Humboldt County

A failing grade leads to stodgy medical student Peter getting drunk in a club where he attracts the attention of singer Bogart. He later wakes up in a northern California community of hippies and pot farmers who live off-the-grid. Peter is offered a place to stay by Jack and his wife Rosie, whose son Max runs the family's business. Peter decides to hang out and then gets involved in a family conflict when Max plans a big score that could bring too much interest from the DEA.
