I Love You, Man

Peter (Rudd) discovers proposing to his girlfriend might have been the easiest part of getting married. Now he has to find a male friend to be his best man and embarks on a series of "man dates" to find Mr. Right in time for his wedding. Formulaic but funny, thanks mainly to the excellent performances by Rudd and Segel, who strike a perfect mix and complement each other's comedic strong suit a la the original buddy movie, "The Odd Couple." Full of the apparently requisite gross-out and sex jokes that the young, male target audience won't mind but may be a little much for their dates. Another solid entry in the booming "bromance" category.
