The forces of the Daimyo brutally slaughter a small village, and a hidden priest invokes an ancient god to take revenge. Many years later, after a solar eclipse, mysterious events happen in the Heian capital. Demons are murdering members of the nobility by biting off parts of their body, and once again the famous Abe no Seimei is called upon to solve the problem. This sequel is more cinematic, and probably more accessible to viewers who aren't natives of Japan.
