Squeaky-clean Disney-made documentary following fifteen young sailors as they embark on the 2500 mile TransPac race from Los Angeles to Hawaii. The ships' crews are obviously aware that they're on camera, which leads to very few spontaneous moments, as well as a few seemingly rigged scenes. Aware of the small audience that actually follows this kind of elite sailing competition, Disney sets it up like a lame reality show, complete with a climactic elimination. Too bad Fox wasn't involved. They could've at least brought in some bikini babes and a keg.
