The Sandlot 2

The original came out in 1993, so this sequel basically features the same plot with a new group of baseball-playing kids. Now set in 1972, the sandlot guys team up with several softball-playing girls to take on some rivals. There's also a subplot about a rocket-loving shrimp who accidentally gets his hands on a NASA prototype and you can figure out what happens next. Innocuous fun but not destined to be a childhood classic.
