A Blueprint for Murder

Low-budget but well-done noir thriller. Whitney "Cam" Cameron (Cotten) becomes suspicious of his brother's attractive widow Lynne (Peters) when his young niece dies under strange circumstances (as did his brother). An autopsy reveals poisoning and Cam is convinced that Lynne wants to become the sole inheritor to her husband's estate and is going after her stepson next. Cam chases after Lynne, who's off on an ocean voyage, in order to prove she's a cold-blooded killer despite his attraction to her.
