Moontide

French star Gabin made his American debut in a routine melodrama about a drunken longshoreman accused of murder. Awakening from his latest drunken spree, Bobo can't remember committing any crime but he decides to lay low on a bait boat with his derelict friend Tiny (Mitchell) who promises to keep quiet. Then Bobo saves waitress Anna (Lupino) from a suicide attempt, invites her onboard, and three's a crowd. Especially when Anna is able to figure out who really committed the crime.
