Sardonic black comedy disturbingly based on a true story. Tom (Rea) has lost his job and become homeless but his life gets infinitely worse when hard-partying Brandi (Suvari) slams into him and Tom is stuck in her windshield. She drives home, parks in the garage, and leaves him there--apparently not realizing (or maybe caring) that he's alive. Next day, Brandi asks her drug-dealing boyfriend Rashid (Hornsby) to dispose of the body. Except Tom's still not dead, but now he's mondo ticked, struggling to get free, and out for payback.
A modern day fable about our self-centeredness ReelVideoMan at 2009-12-30 23:41:58
An up and coming nursing home caregiver discovers truly how much see cares about humanity. On the verge of a big promotion, as big as a low paying job can give, she pulls the brakes out and has a hard night of alcohol and drugs. On the way home she comes across a man who has just that day become homeless. Comes across him with the frontend of her car that is. So what does she do having a living hobo as a hood ornament? Call 911? Take him to the hospital? Nope. How about driving him to house and leaving him in windshield. She does have a career you know. A battle for his death or survival ensues. Twisted and sadly plausible this movie keeps you guessing to the very end!
