Pediatrician Alexandre Beck (Cluzet) struggles to piece together the events of a mysterious day at the lake eight years earlier when his wife was murdered and he was struck on the head, rendering the details fuzzy. When two more bodies are found buried at the murder site, police once again suspect Beck and inquire about possible evidence that turns up in his apartment. The airtight plot spirals out of control when Beck begins receiving cryptic emails regarding the day in question and he is forced to flee the cops. A perplexing thriller that will reward only those willing to trust the material and not second-guess the outcome.
