WarGames 2: The Dead Code

Computer whiz Will Farmer (Lanter) hacks into a restricted online gaming network called Ripley. Only it's actually a secret government defense project designed to catch would-be terrorists, since the object of the game is to launch a successful attack on a U.S. city. Will gets targeted, goes on the run with gal pal Annie (Walsh), winds up in custody, and figures out Ripley has decided to play for keeps unless the hacker can stop the game. The 1983 original still has an anachronistic charm but this is just silly.
