Despite the effective leads, this is a sentimental tearjerker of the worst sort (and a remake of the 1976 TV movie). Divorced workaholic Henry Griffin (Mulroney) learns that his inoperable cancer leaves him less than two years to live. While auditing a college course on death and dying, Henry meets Sarah Phoenix (Peet) and they decide to take a chance on romance. But it comes as no shocker that Sarah is hiding her own terminal secret.
