Showgirl Kathy O'Connor (infamous fan dancer Rand) goes to work at a nightclub to investigate her detective dad's murder and then wants revenge on the mobsters behind the rub-out. Not nearly as risque as originally intended, although lawsuits did hold up the release until 1941.
