Predictable mom com starring Fey and Poehler, who got comfortable doing skits together on SNL. Single, 37-year-old workaholic Kate Holbrook (Fey) determines she now has the time and resources to have a baby, but dang if her biological clock hasn't stopped ticking. So Kate goes the surrogacy route and chooses an unlikely candidate--South Philly good-time gal Angie (Poehler), who's unwilling to follow Kate's precise pregnancy plans when the duo wind up as roommates. Naturally, over the course of nine months and lots of preggo jokes, they bond. The leads sell the weak material and are backed up by such pros as Weaver, Kinnear, and Martin.
