Ismael (Garel) lives with longtime girlfriend Julie (Sagnier) and has just persuaded her (reluctantly) into a three-way with his co-worker Alice (Hesme). Julie's sudden death plunges the immature Ismael into a series of complicated emotional situations that involve Julie's sister Jeanne (Mastroiani), Alice taking up with new beau Gwendal (Renier), and Gwendal's teenaged brother Erwann (Leprince-Riguet) developing a serious crush on Ismael. And every so often the cast bursts out singing pop songs, which sometimes works (and sometimes doesn't) but at least writer/director Honore is trying for something out of the ordinary. French with subtitles.
