Hero Wanted

Garbage collector Liam Case (Gooding) becomes a local hero when he rescues a young girl from a burning car, but that one moment doesn't bring the changes to his life Liam anticipates. He happens to be at the bank, flirting with a pretty teller, when a heist is attempted. Liam and the teller are among the shooting victims and Liam vows revenge. But the detective (Liotta) on the case gets suspicious about Liam's true role in the bank job. Lots of flashbacks and a few plot twists.
