The Day of the Outlaw
Bleak wintry western. Wounded Jack Bruhn (Ives) and his gang take over the remote town of Bitter, Wyoming. Cattleman Blaise Starrett (Ryan) ignores the town's plight since he's upset that the settlers are stringing up barbed wire and his young love Helen (Louise) has married another. But finally Starrett's decency gets the better of him and he decides to take a stand against Bruhn.
