A convoluted plot doesn't slow down the enjoyment of this musical comedy. Naive Glen (Sinatra) writes a dramatic play and sends it--along with his life savings--to slick NY producer Miller (Murphy). When he shows up to see how things are progressing, Glen learns that Miller has used his dough to help finance a new musical, so Miller has showgirl Christine (DeHaven) keep Glen occupied. But the show is in trouble without a male lead--and then Miller hears Glen sing. And the rest is showbiz, folks.
