The Band's Visit

Eight members of an Egyptian police orchestra are accidentally stranded in the Israeli desert, far away from their intended destination. They end up in an Israeli town where they are anything but welcome. Through the culture clash, connections are made, and an unlikely attraction develops between band members and the beautiful restaurant owner who gives them a place to stay. Director Kolirin draws comedy out of the isolated, sad characters and their awkward situation without exploiting them.
