You know the drill: Hopeless romantic Jane (Heigl) simply adores weddings but is the perennial bridesmaid--literally--with 27 (oft hideous) bridesmaid dresses to prove it. Jane crushes on her boss George (Burns), but he has eyes for her sister Tess (Akerman). In the meantime perennial cynic Kevin (Marsden) has a thing for Jane, but she's too hooked on her boss to pay any attention. What she doesn't realize is that Kevin is actually the writer of a marriage column that Jane has been clipping for years. What ensues is pure romantic-comedy rehash. Heigl's adorable, but alas, this silly chick flick is much less so.
