It's just like "Lord of the Rings"... only much, much worse. German schauenfreude-specialist Uwe Boll is at it again with yet another video game adaptation, this time with his biggest budget ever. But money doesn't mean a thing if you don't have the talent to spend it wisely, and Boll squanders his wad on unconvincing FX and Peter Jackson-esque helicopter shots. In ye olden times, a man named Farmer (Statham, who is, guess what... a farmer) rallies a nation to defend Burt Reynolds' kingdom (King Bandit the IV) against evil wizard and not-so-goodfella Ray Liotta. The rest is a mish-mash of boring battles, orc knock-offs, and inexplicable ninjas. What in the name of the king was Boll thinking?
