As a child, Fanny Price (Piper) was sent to grow up with her rich relatives, the Bertrams, at Mansfield Park. As the poor relation, plucky Fanny is subjected to much belittling by everyone except handsome cousin Edmund (Ritson). But their new and flirtatious neighbors the Crawfords cause trouble: Mary (Atwell) sets her eyes on Edmund while her brother Henry (Beattie) flirts with both Fanny and her cousin Maria (Ryan). Only Fanny seems to realize their insincerity and her insight does her no good (at first). Based on the novel by Jane Austen.
