The Walker

Carter (Harrelson), an extravagantly gay DC insider who spends most of his time escorting rich married women to public events, ends up in the middle of the investigation of the murder of a powerful Beltway lobbyist who was having an affair with Carter's married friend Lynn (Scott Thomas). In order to protect her and clear his own name, Carter must try and find the real killer himself while his carefully cultivated status in DC society collapses. Harrelson's performance stands out, but otherwise this is a run-of-the mill crime drama that flirts awkwardly with political commentary.
