Doctor Bull
Rogers is aw-shucks charming in the title role. George Bull is an opinionated small-town doctor who's subjected to much gossip, especially over his romance with widow Janet (Allen). When the town's water supply is contaminated and many fall ill, Bull diagnoses typhoid. Herbert Banning (Churchill), Janet's brother, tries to blame the good doctor since he's the town's health officer, but Janet defends him.
