Smart Money
Nick (Robinson) is a small-town barber who holds a poker game in his back room, helped by his assistant, Jack (Cagney). A consistent winner, Nick is encouraged to try his luck in a big-city game and loses everything, only to realize he's been set-up. So Nick sends for Jack and they work out their own scheme to get back at the crooked gamblers. The only time Robinson and Cagney were paired up onscreen.
