No Country for Old Men

When cowboy Llewelyn Moss (Brolin) happens upon a drug deal gone bad in the West Texas wilderness and grabs a case holding more than $2 million, it's up to world-weary sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Jones) to track him down. However, both men find themselves tangled up with cold-blooded killer Anton Chigurh (Bardem), who's determined to track down the missing money and willing to kill anyone in his way. Expertly adapted from the Cormac McCarthy novel, writers/directors/producers Joel and Ethan Coen have crafted a masterpiece: a painstakingly intense, dark thriller that doubles as a meditation on the role of violence in American society.

Worth all 4 bones

Much like Fargo but set in the deserted plains of south Texas instead of the barren tundra of North Dakota. But even better, and with an ending that can't help but leave you wondering.

Definitely the best movie of 2007; as soon as it was over I wanted to see it again right away. The best Cohen brothers movie ever made, and one of the best book-to-movies ever done. Period.
