The Last Confederate: The Story of Robert Adams

Adams portrays his own great-great grandfather Robert, a South Carolina native who becomes a captain in the Confederacy. He falls in love with northern belle Evilyn McCord (Edwards), the sister of best friend Nelson (Lindsey), who also joins the southern cause. When both men are captured and sent to a Union prison camp, Robert plans an escape that will eventually bring him back to Evilyn.
