Mild coming of age pic about three lifelong buddies, set in 1985 Brooklyn. Michael (Prinze) leaves the 'hood behind to go to law school and date an uptown girl (Suvari). Easy-going Bobby (Ferrara) plans to get married and have a steady straight job. But slickster Carmine (Caan) wants to be part of local wiseguy Cesar's (Baldwin) crew. Naturally these differing aims pull the guys apart.
