Dark Corners
Writer/director Gower plays mind games with his audience and then leaves us confused and dissatisfied. Karen Clark (Birch), a suburban housewife undergoing fertility treatments, begins having horrific nightmares about a woman who looks just like her. Disturbed mortuary assistant Susan Hamilton (yep, Birch again) has blackouts. Both women learn that people they know are victims of a serial killer. Ah, if only the plot were actually that simple.
