Charming swashbuckler. Pirate Frederick Baptiste (Friend) only attacks the ships of evil Narbonne (Douglas) as revenge for his father's death. During one of his raids, New Orleans entertainer Deborah (De Carlo) stows away and falls for the sea-faring Robin Hood. However, hoping to marry into money, Deborah sets her sights on an aristocrat, only to figure out that Baptiste has been leading a double life.
