Your basic low-budget teen flick from AIP finds Frankie and Fabian as rival stock car drivers in South Carolina. Newcomer Frankie makes a play for Annette, who's already Fabian's girl. But then Frankie switches cars to romance wealthy raceway owner Parrish. Bootleggers try to trick Frankie into illegal doings during a cross-country race, but he wises up and helps the Feds close the moonshiners down. He also croons a few tunes and the action is a little more adventurous than in the "Beach Party" series.
