Unable to bear her miserable drug-addled and Goth-wannabe existence, 14-year-old Silver Strand (Davis) offs herself, only to become stranded with other similarly-troubled teens between heaven and hell, where she is made to attend daily group sessions while watching the televised earthly sufferings of the loved ones she left behind. With the help of Saint James (Hanks) she must either cope with the fallout or be stuck there. Frank discussion of teen angst by first-time director Baer and written by lead Davis, who was 14 years old at the time.
