Struggling Vegas magician Cris (Cage) has the ability to see two minutes into the future. Somehow, FBI agent Ferris (Moore) becomes aware of his ability and wants him to help them find a nuclear weapon that's been smuggled into L.A. Cris would rather focus on meeting his dream girl, Liz (Biel), but the two plot points soon cross paths. Cage stays low-key, Biel is beautiful and bewildered, and director Tamahori handles the action well, but it's ultimately a forgettable gimmick. Adapted from a story by Philip K. Dick.
