Underdog
Live-action/CGI combo finds the TV cartoon character making his feature film debut. Beagle Underdog (Lee) goes from ordinary to extraordinary, thanks to an accident in the lab of Dr. Simon Barsinister (Dinklage). He can even talk, which is a big surprise to young owner Jack (Neuberger). Now Underdog's new mission is to protect the citizens of Capitol City, especially lovely spaniel "Sweet" Polly Purebred (Adams), from Barsinister's...well...sinister plans to take over. With a dog as a superhero, there's no way this should have missed. Unfortunately, a handful of inspired moments aren't enough to overcome the generally disjointed and rushed feel of the whole thing.
