Remy the rat (Oswalt) has a very refined palate, too refined for the garbage his colony hoards to survive. So he sneaks into the best restaurant in Paris to forage while he dreams of becoming a chef himself. This makes him odd-rat-out with his dad and the sewer-dwelling rodent community, not to mention the rodent-averse employees of the restaurant. He gets an in when he helps the klutzy new guy, a kitchen helper named Linguini (Romano), to become a renowned chef. Provides plenty to entertain all ages, with beautiful animation, excellent voice work, well-developed characters, and some surprising plot twists.
