Uptight, temperamental chef Kate (Zeta-Jones) meets her match romantically and professionally in laid back sous chef Nick (Eckhart). He's perfect, but she's too neurotic to recognize it, and just for a touch of extra conflict she's saddled with an orphaned pre-teen niece (Breslin). Aspires to be the romantic comedy version of fine dining but the end result is a bland and uninspired dish. Remake of popular German film "Mostly Martha."
