Nothing redeems this dull, obnoxious comedy that mostly serves as a vehicle for Williams to do the same ad-libbed characters he's been doing for years. Newly engaged couple Ben and Sadie (Krasinski and Moore) must undergo Rev. Frank's (Williams) premarital counseling, but what they get is an endless series of laugh-free, sadism-lite tests of endurance. Nothing, from Ben and Sadie's cliche personality mismatch, to Frank's junior sadist sidekick Choir Boy (Flitter), saves this movie from being a big "I don't" for all involved.
