Iraqi war vets from the same National Guard unit return home to Spokane and have trouble readjusting to civilian life in Winkler's conventional drama. Medic Will Marsh (Jackson) turns to alcohol and lashing out at his wife (Rowell) and son (Jones). Single mom Vanessa (Biel) lost a hand and discovers her prosthesis makes everyone uncomfortable while Tommy (Presley) can't get past the death of his best friend. Actors do as well as can be expected with the cliched material.
