Big screen story of one guitar pick, two rockers and quite a bit of mind-altering substances. JB (Black) and KG (Gass) are Tenacious D, the hard-rockin' duo that simultaneously pays tribute to and pokes fun at the cliches of the world of hard rock. This hit-and-miss comedy traces the origins of the band and their experiences with talking Dio posters, Sasquatch and a musical duel with the Devil (Grohl). A must-see for fans of the band (however, it does not have powers comparable to Wonderboy), it is also entertaining for others. Raise your Goblet of Rock and lower your cognitive capacity for this one.

Very Good Movie
Good music, good fun. This movie shows appreciation while it makes fun of the hard rock life. I love rock so it was fun. After awhile though I must admit . . . I fell asleep.
