Shock to the System
In the second Donald Strachey mystery (following "Third Man Out"), the Albany PI (Allen) is suspicious when client Paul Hale allegedly commits suicide. He discovers Paul's homophobic mom (Fairchild) pushed him towards a gay conversion therapy group run by the shady Dr. Cornell (Woods). So Donald decides to go undercover to investigate, which may cost him his own life. Based on the series by Richard Stevenson.
