Almodovar and the women. The writer/director tackles domestic melodrama when frustrated cleaner Raimunda (Cruz) is forced into drastic action to protect her daughter Paula (Cobo). In addition, Raimunda's hairdresser sister Sole (Duenas) is suddenly confronted by their mother Irene's (Maura) ghost, who takes up residence with Sole and helps out in her salon in order to rectify some mistakes she made with her daughters. Much sly humor and female bonding and yes, Cruz is wearing a prosthetic backside to give her that sexy sway. Spanish with subtitles.
