Sleeping Dogs Lie

Should you be completely honest in any relationship? Goldthwait's answer is a firm "no" in this off-the-wall comedy. When she was a bored college student, Amy (Hamilton) got, uh, very friendly with her dog (it's implied, not shown). When her fiance John (Johnson) asks Amy to tell him her deepest, darkest secret, she does. He's repulsed. Unfortunately, this situation occurs during their meet-the-parents weekend and Amy is left to deal with the consequences. Hamilton's a sweetie and the low-budget indie is subversively engaging.
