Certainly everyone involved had a wonderful time swilling wine and eating foie gras in Provence, but Crowe should be forbidden from taking any role that calls for him to play a Hugh Grant-ish floppy-haired Brit. Max is a London bonds trader who lives life on the fast track. When he unexpectedly inherits his Uncle Max's (Finney) vineyard, he travels down to the property with the intention of selling it quickly. That is until all that wine, not to mention French babe Fanny (Cotillard), start Max thinking he's missing out on life's true pleasures. The setting is really, really pretty.
