Aged lonely hearts find support and possibly love as members of a bereavement club at a Florida "active adult" community--an unlikely but surprisingly refreshing setting for a romantic comedy. Newly widowed Marilyn (Vaccarro) joins the group after a car backs over her husband. There she meets a range of characters more interested in romance and life beyond blue hair and early-bird specials. Hotties-of-a-certain-age Cannon and Kellerman mix with master casanova Bologna and his reluctant protege Cariou to show both the funny and tender sides of the senior dating game. Plays a little sitcom-y at times, but manages to keep things dignified and unpatronizing. Director Seidelman got the idea for the movie from her mother Florence, who received a producer's credit.
