Ancient Relic
Confusing German miniseries focuses on a startling archeological discovery. Steffen Vogt is helping out at a dig site in Israel when he finds a 2,000-year-old skeleton holding instructions for a video camera. He leaps to the conclusion that the skeleton belongs to a time traveler who got actual footage of Jesus. His crackpot idea is given credence by expert Kaun, who's convinced the camera is hidden somewhere in Jerusalem's Wailing Wall. Then Steffen is abducted by your basic secret Vatican society who doesn't want the status quo upset. German with subtitles.
