The Wild

No, it's not "Madagascar 2" although you'd be forgiven for thinking so. Here young lion cub Ryan (Cipes) decides he needs to get out from under his dad Samson's (Sutherland) roar, so he escapes from a New York zoo and stows away on an Africa-bound ship. Dad follows along with opinionated giraffe Bridget (Garofalo) and her bossy squirrel admirer, Benny (Belushi); dopey anaconda Larry (Kind); and snooty, campy koala, Nigel (a very enjoyable Izzard). When they get to Africa, Nigel gets mistaken for a god by a herd of wildebeests, led by the sinister Kazar (Shatner), who challenges Samson for supremacy.
