Wanting her son to escape his stepdad's beatings, Erik's (Wilson) mom scrapes up the funds to send him to a supposedly classy boarding school. Unfortunately it's ruled by upperclassmen who like to keep the pecking order alive by tormenting younger students. But Erik's violent past--including his expulsion from his last school as a gang leader--makes him a poor target for their abuse, and despite his desire to please his mom he must fight to protect himself and the other victims.
